Couple getaway, mostly great but with a few bumps.

We had an absolutely amazing breakfast, seriously, it was probably the best breakfast we've ever had! And the room had these quirky features that made it charming, like the ethnic decor and those huge fluffy towels that just scream comfort!

It wasn't exactly cheap, but the experience was still acceptable.

I loved the cozy Double Room and the lovely shower that was perfect after a long day out. The sun terrace had a great vibe for relaxing with friends, and the outdoor seating was a bonus. Just a heads up, the street noise did creep in a bit on busy nights, but overall, we had a fab time! 😊

I had a lovely stay at Hive At Poppi-Red Bed & Breakfast. The room decor amazed me, and the location in Hawkshead offered tranquillity. breakfast started a bit late for my early outings. a charming stop for any adventure traveler.

The Hive At Poppi-Red is a charming spot with cozy decor that instantly makes you feel at home. My favorite part was the delicious breakfast – their Eggs Benedict was exceptional! The room was spacious and comfortable, with lovely fluffy towels that added a touch of luxury. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, making the stay truly enjoyable.

The Wi-Fi was occasionally spotty.

i had a lovely stay at the b&b above the pub. the room was cozy, with a comfortable bed and a great coffee area. the decor was beautiful, and the location in hawkshead is simply charming, a perfect stopover in the lakes.

The deluxe suite was stylish and super cozy. The big copper bath was fantastic for relaxing after a long day. There was air conditioning, a big fan, and a lovely coffee area. Breakfast was outstanding with lots of options. The staff were super friendly and made everything easy. Hawkshead is simply charming, so convenient for exploring.

We had a wonderful stay for one night, enjoying the fabulous location and lovely food. The room was cosy, comfortably decorated, and the breakfast was a real highlight, with fresh options that delighted everyone. the Grizedale suite felt a bit misleading as it was smaller than expected for a suite. a delightful experience!

I appreciated how close the hotel was to delightful walking trails. The warm and gentle lighting in the room made for a lovely ambiance during my stay, and the friendly staff also made breakfast a real treat as they served us with pleasantness.

Charming decor throughout the Deluxe Double Room complemented the comfortable bed, making for a cozy retreat. The ambiance of the restaurant stood out, as the hand-pulled noodles were a delightful highlight of the dining experience. connectivity issues with Wi-Fi made it challenging to stay updated, and some staff seemed overwhelmed during busy hours which slowed service. noise from the street could sometimes disrupt the otherwise peaceful atmosphere at night.
